ADDIE HIGGINS

ballet, tap, modern

Addie Higgins, born and raised in Jacksonville, began dancing at the age of 3. She has trained in Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Modern, Hip-Hop, and Acro at Studio K Dance, Studio 1014, Jacksonville Centre of the Arts, and Britney Boyd Dance Company. She started competing at the age of 5, and attended Pine Forest Elementary School of the Arts and LaVilla Middle School of the Arts. Addie joined Tremaine convention as an assistant in 2012, and toured with them for 5 years. She also danced in The First Coast Nutcracker for 11 years performing multiple roles. Addie graduated from Douglas Anderson School of the Arts in 2017 where she was in Dance Theatre all four years. Addie began teaching at the age of 17. After she graduated, she attended the University of South Florida for 2 years and was on their dance team, the SunDolls. Addie currently attends the University of North Florida where she will graduate in the Spring of 2021.
